The shield is Pinlock Vision-ready and has opening tabs on the back and front. It also has the shield lock to stop it from opening accidentally during riding. The ratchet system is simple to operate and there are three positions. It is also typical for the GP500 to have a tinted, 50%-colored shield as standard and it comes with a variety of common quality of life and convenience features such as two-dimensional keystones and Corner Fit (corner warping).
